In addition to being an accomplished photographer, Joe Redden published a humorous coffee table book entitled “Odd Faces,” a collection of photographs featuring everyday objects that look like human and animal faces as well as a book entitled "Emotional Overload." Also, he's published three mystery novels:
“Love's a Crime” is set at a private boarding school and involves a love triangle turned deadly. What looks like a cut-and-dried murder of passion has many twists and turns with multiple suspects catching the eye of the police.
“Poisoned at the Party” tells the tale of a ruthless businesswoman found murdered at her own promotion celebration. Suspects range from her co-workers to her husband, and even her teenaged daughter is not free from suspicion.
“Secrets Can Kill” is the story of a small-town lawyer whose murderer could be any number of people in the town. As the murder is investigated, secrets that are better kept hidden begin to be revealed, shattering the quiet town where the attorney was killed.
The Vineyard Murders is a chilling tale of greed and desperation. When wine entrepreneur Carlton Drake dies, his family gathers to hear the reading of his DVD will. Their love and adoration for him fizzles fast when they learn that they won't get a dime until a year later–if they should survive. The sole heir will end up with everything.
It’s bad enough that Claire Morgan’s husband, Trent, is leaving her for another woman. When that woman turns out to be a model half Trent’s age, Claire packs a bag and speeds off in her Mercedes. But something goes wrong. The police find a wrecked car with blood on the seat—and no driver. Claire has vanished. Detective Frank Logan initially suspects a deadly domestic dispute, but bizarre eyewitness accounts change the game. Unearthed secrets, a vengeful plot, and the threat of blackmail soon escalate into murder. Will Logan sift through the lies and bring the true killer to justice?
Joe has also co-authored two books on Delaware history with his parents entitled “Delaware Then and Now” and “More Delaware Then and Now.” The books provide an inside look at Delaware history, including many stories that may even be a surprise to some long-time residents of the first state.
